Sponsorships and Donor Opportunities


There are several ways to support The ACT Program Foundation!  Your contribution can be financial, you can donate items to a classroom, or you can give your time and talent. Listed below are some of the ways you can help:


On-Line Donations

ACT Program families, relatives, friends, neighbors, local business owners and others can donate to the ACT Program Foundation at any time using PayPal, a secure on-line service:  Just click on the button above!


Classroom Support Drive

The ACT Program Foundation is conducting a drive for donations of classroom equipment, supplies and materials. All donations are appreciated! Click here for a list of needed items for each of the ACT Program classrooms.


Keep Moving Forward!

Our Keep Moving Forward! program is a series of monthly fund-raising events designed to promote local awareness of the Adult  Community Transition Program while raising money for the benefit of the ACT Program classrooms at the same time. The next Keep Moving Forward! event will be announced soon.


Weekly Car Wash

ACT Program classrooms hold a car wash on most Thursday mornings throughout the school year in the Tucker School rear parking lot (off of Argonne Avenue). Standard wash is just $5.


Community Partnership Program

Long Beach area businesses and organizations can become Community Partners with The ACT Program Foundation to help ACT Program students transition from school to adulthood.  For more information on how to become a community partner, please visit the Programs page or email Heather Hendricks at vicechair@actprogramfoundation.org.



Caring individuals and business owners are invited to join our growing list of sponsors! The ACT Program Foundation is a non-profit corporation, recognized by the Internal Revenue Serviceas a 501(c)(3) organization, and was created in 2009 to provide supplemental material support to the classrooms of the Adult Community Transition (ACT) Program in the Long Beach Unified School District. 

The ACT Program Foundation is a California Public Benefit Corporation, and is recognized by the State of California’s Franchise Tax Board as a Tax-Exempt organization.

 The ACT Program Foundation is registered with the State of California’s Attorney General’s Office on the Registry of Charitable Trusts.
